Sys Specs are 1 gig Athlon KBit Raid Motherboard 256mb Ram 32mb ATI 128 Rage Fury Pro Sound Blaster Live DirectX 9

The demo ran fine on 98 but I recently updated to XP Pro full install on clean hard drive. I just bought full version and all my backgrounds are black, textures are, white, blue, purple. Im guessin its a setting in my video card anyone know a setting that you must turn on/off ? Please help me, I would really like to play this game.

Thanx for anyone that can help. K.H :)

my friend had the exact some problem as you and he had the EXACT same video card as you do, so he bought a new video card and now his game works great..so your problem is your video card for sure!

Hi LedZep,

The demo level was a version specially designed to run on low end machines and vid cards so it didn't use the advanced features of the vid cards to the fullest (transform and lighting), however when they released the full version they implemented the use of the "Transform and Lighting Engine" so that now you need a card with Hardware Transform and Lighting, which the rage doesn't have (think I mentioned this in another of your threads, but not the reason the demo worked but not the full version). I suspect when they released the demo they wanted the largest test group possible, then when you fell in love with the game you felt compelled to upgrade just to play the game. A dirty trick but that's busines I guess.

Good Luck
