Help if possible please. When I try to install the game it takes me all the way to the installation fileoption and when I hit next on the Instalshield, it gives me a "invalid code error" without prompting me to enter the cd codes on the back of the cd case. This is far as I can get. I know the cds are good because it will install on my laptop, but unfortunately mylaptop does not meet the specs to play the game. There must be some feature that is either enabled or disabled that is causing it to completely skip the cd key prompt and go straight to the error message. I just dont know what it is. I am using windows xp on both the desktop and the laptop.

Are you speaking about BF1942 or BFVietnam?

first i would contact tech support and let them help u, but if u don't wan to then wat u can do is got to regedit (on ur laptop w/ bf1942 installed) and navigate to where the cdke is stored, the naigate to the folder beefore that on ur PC make a new key (make sure it is the right type, e.g don't put a DWORD value if it isn't a dwordvalue etc.) and then modify it and put the cd key in the space (ry w/ the dashes and without them i don't know which way it will work.) then restart ur computer, if it doesn't work, delete the key you made and then contact tech support, wats stopping u?

I had the same problem. I had to reset the CD key, which can be done with the following program on the first CD:

D:\eReg\Battlefield Vietnam_code.exe
