Snake -- yea when i get some good cash in - imma buy a new system -- we are possibly inheritting 6.5 Million dollars - so if we get that imma Buy a new 3.0 HT Watercooled system and the newest ATI Radeon card and imma MAX my memory out to the Hill
I pray we get this money cuz we really need it lol
and My chip is still good running smooth -- i cant beleive it actually still works either cuz i burned my fingers to death - that sucker was HOT as hell
HellRaiserKANEpossibly inheritting 6.5 Million dollars
Hey, I can refer you to a great guy that will be moving to Cyprus and could probably use some investment capital to build an awesome WildWest game. :D Now Kane the real answer to your problem lies here:
Intel Researchers Build a Laser on Chip Associated Press
Working with the basic material of computer chips, Intel Corp. researchers have constructed an all-silicon laser that could lead to computers harnessing light waves rather than electrical currents to shuttle data swiftly. Today, lasers that power fast optical networks require exotic - and expensive - materials and are mainly used in vast communications networks. With everyday silicon, the capacity and efficiency of light waves could be used cheaply in much smaller environments. As a result, the movement of data within computers would keep up with the ever-increasing speed of microprocessors, breaking through an increasingly problematic bottleneck that exists for users of complex programs, such as video editors, large businesses and governments. Silicon lasers also could be mass produced, using the same equipment on which standard chips are made.
And here: http://trnmag.com/Stories/052301/Laser_switch_sets_up_light_logic_052301.html Superfast, no heat! Or you could go the biology route - my favorite. http://www.trnmag.com/Stories/2004/121504/DNA_makes_nanotube_transistors_Brief_121504.html I personally have never overclocked anything in my life - though I aided in the ruining of several Macs used in a microscopy lab. They just couldn't handle overclocking well, and they were great for a while but after a year or two all kinds of random errors and crashes would show up. No melting, just a slow agonizing death.
KANE apparently you weren't burned too bad... your trigger finger seems to work just fine:nodding: . I found out last night:dpistols:
lol -- i heal fast - but my figner tips were pretty sore for a few hrs Heh
but my chip is running stable been on all night just fine thank god
@Preacher -- i read on some of that stuff while back -- the DNA/Biology route will not go far -- but the Laser/Light route will end up being what we use in the Future - Light travels pretty damn fast lol - so people will eventually start making Light systems for home users etc.....
wicked KANE ..here Iam telling rebel ..my cpu temps are running around 50 c or 120 degrees.. Mate thats the heat an weather here now ...200 !!!!.. would make ya f a.rt ..EEEKKKK GROAN :( mean 1 ..... phew lucky + good cpu :bows:
yea its still running too lmao -- smooth still - it seems to be going faster - i think my lil burnout scare beat it into submission lol
i recon ...i run gtr 4 way chassie fans and a cpu fan that runs at 5450 rpm .. cause our weather is so hot this time of year... but i have this cool programe called pc wizard 2004 .. get read outs on every thing , on board .. its a god send...Iam paranoid about over cooking the amd runs way cooler than this p4 2.8 gig here is a zip of this thing Kane ..:cya:
cool lol -- imma buy a new system as soon as i can and this new system i wont need to worry about my cooling lol
