[color=black]Here is the solution to fixing CTD-crash to desktop problems I had. This forum helped ALOT in getting to the final solution that was missed matched sticks of memory on my machine!! They looked the same, were the same type but different Mfg. I messed with it for 2 weeks, changed everything including the Video card, drivers, windows load to bare Min and then finally swapped the memory that i had. It was 512mb in each slot. I made sure it was from the same Mfg and exactly the same and that stopped all the crash problems. Apparently all memory is not crated equal from Mfg. to Mfg.!! Hope this helps....[/color]

Yea always use memory modules from the same manufacturer & speed for that matter. While some machines will work just fine like that, alot won't.
