 :spank: It keeps on crashing in the begening when it's loading. I don't get it? No error message pops up or anything. This is my email adressChrisleger11@toughguy.net
Hi "The best player"
There are a number of reasons for the game crashing early on, one of the most common is an incorrectly installed mod or custom level, so check to make sure they are all installed correctly. There are also hardware issues that can cause this problem so a listing of your hardware specs may be helpful. Also some info on the circumstances of the crashing - ie: did you update and it started crashing, did you install amod and it started crashing etc.
get back to me ASAP

hey apocalypse_kid(love the avator!!!), i have the same problem when installing this on my brothers computer. the loading screen (battlefield picture, still seeing some desktop) comes up, screen turns black...battlefield crashes back to desktop instantly. i can not see any of the cinema before the game or even the ea challenge everything screen.
specs: p3 1.0 ghz, 128mb ram, intel extreme integrated graphics, windows me
battlefield is running with no mods or custom maps, it is a clean install with the 1.31 patch installed over it.
any help would be apriciated! thanks in advanced
Here is your problem.
intel extreme integrated graphics
= crap onboard video.
Sorry but the plain fact of the matter is your video adaptor simply won't run BF. Many ppl have made the same mistake. Just cause their onboard video says 3D and 32Mb Video Ram they believe it should work. Also it would run like crap anyway with only 128Mb ram, specially with the onboard video taking 32Mb for video mem so you really only actualy have 96Mb ram available, below the required min specs of the game.
Sorry for being the one to pass on the bad news, it's upgrade time mate, many ppl with much higher specced systems have trouble running BF at a reasonable speed so playing around with your system probably won't work.

its okay, i figured that was the problem, i have bf running on my computer perfect (xp 2400+, gf4 ti4200, 512 mb ram, so on) this was just a second thing, worth an ask though :)

apocalypse_kid said it. You need to upgrade big time! It will be worth it though! Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade and upgrade!!! :)

Does it crash when loading the game from desktop or when connecting to an internet game and crashes when map is loading? I get a the odd crash to desktop when the map is loading. I have no mods installed and I seem to crash even when loading Wake. I have no idea what is causing the crash. Do some game have filters that filters out peeps w/ stupid names? I use PaiN MoNkeY the odd time and I wonder...
