I have DC .38 and when i play the graphics seem to cause my comp to crash (the microsoft crash thing told me). So i set my video settings down and i still get the problem. I have a 2.2 GhZ penium 4 with a 128 mb gforce force4 ti 4600 and i dont know how to fix it.

Hi UltimateFX,

It's likely either a driver problem or a hardware problem with your Video card, maybe overheating or something like that. If you haven't already try downloading the latest driver for your vidcard and see of that helps. If it doesn't check you vid card and make sure the fan is still spinning freely, if it's not or feels stiff then it could be overheating. There are other things that can cause this sort of crash but try these and let me know the results then we'll dig deeper if we have to.

Its not over heating and the fan is still spinning and i have the latest drivers. Maybe I just got a bad copy or something. Im gonna open my pc and look at it. Then i will prolly reinstall it

Hi UltimateFX,

Then you need to check things like virtual mem (BF wants heaps and DC still more, so set it to windows managed if its not already) and check for other software causing conflicts.

I don't think it's a bad copy - it probably wouldn't run at all if it was.

the; memory is not a problem and it must have been a bad install cause i reinstalled it and it works fine but tnx ne ways
