This area is for people that play BF1942 to get help, not to listen to your idiotic notions of help Mofo. If you have nothing to offer and help.....STFU and quit spamming!

The amount of ram you have does make a huge difference. I noticed a major improvement when I went from 512 to 1024. Of course the Brand & speed of your memory also comes into play. While the video capabilities of your machine are very important, to say that memory doesn't make that much of a difference, just shows that you really don't know alot about computers. My main system specs are in my sig, but I also have BF installed on another box & while the specs are of older technology, it plays just fine. Asus P4T Socket 423\Intel 850 chipset\400mhz FSB Intel 1.5ghz\stock fan-heatsink 512MB OCZ PC800 RDRAM Visiontek Xtasy 6964 GeForce3 Ti500 Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! Western Digital WD800JB 80GB\8mb cache El-Cheapo case & 400watt PSU ( for now ) 15" AOC LM520 LCD Some old Gateway speakers Windoze XP Pro

I'm with you on that. :nodding:

The most improvment you'll see is when you go from 512 to 768 megs. Any higher and you probobly won't notice much.
