Ok guys I've searched forums all over and still got this prob. My specs are AMD XP 2000+ 768 ddr Ram sound blaster pci 128 Gigabyte GA-7vax mobo Gforce 4 ti4200 128mb spec edition gold (latest drivers) Dirct x 8.1 Windows 98 Adsl 128 connection Philips crt 17' monitor

Running BF sweet as until 4 days ago when I upgraded Ram by 512mb and GFX card. Was running Radeon 7500. Now I was having crash to desktop when loading maps. This is what I've tried. Full reinstallation of vanilla BF, all patches, addons and DC Refresh rate from 0 to 1 Refresh rate of monitor to 60 mhz changed server.con file to server.bak

Now I can't even get the splash screen. GFX card is fine with other games. I've set my monitor refresh to optimal, antiliasing and antistropic filters are off. This is driving me nuts. Have yet to play beloved game with new card. Please god somebody help me!!!

Go here

http://download.guru3d.com/

then in video card drivers

find these drivers

Detonator 43.51 Windows 98/ME

this should fix the problem

My brother had the same problem and we he installed the new drivers it fixed the crashing problem.
