I'm bored at work, just came accross this site and it put a few smiles back on my face. You can play all the old spectrum games online, it's now passing the time allot quicker today. :p

Cool Lode Runner!!!! This computer was two years newer than the one that Hewster and I each started with. The Timex Sinclair 1000 (a.k.a. Sinclair ZX80). Which only had 2K of memory and displayed in black and white unless you were a member of the local computer club and learned how to flash the black and white dots fast enough to fool your brain into thinking it saw color...LOL I'd bought the 16K (Yes that is KB not MB) expansion pack so that I could buy Frogger. See the Sinclair here: http://www.bigredtoybox.com/cgi-bin/toynfo.pl?timexindex And here's the emulator: Timex/Sinclair 1000 Emulator Very exciting programs there! Check out the speed at which it can rotate a box! Oh, and there is a TRaSh 80 emulator on that home page as well.

wow queeg old times, our 'network' at school consisted of my apple IIc, Frank's Trash80, Tom's Timex, and Joe's Atari with a chain of vic 20's acting as translators from machine to machine. Snow, primitive, but fun.
