I am really considering if BF1942 is worth the hassle... AS most people i think its a really good game but there seems to be more problems with the game than IRAQ!!!
Heres my problem ....
Running a 1.2 Athlon Thunderbird Gforce 4 MX 440 SE 128MB 640 SD-RAM 40 Gb Harddrive Soundblaster PCI 128mb
The problem is that although i can run the game "fine" compared to other people who have major issues my problem is that my frames per second is really bad considering. I usually tend to get 30-50 fps in non action areas and about 10-25 fps in heavy fighting
I have disabled V synch on my graphic card fress install for Win XP pro and latest drivers for sound / graphic / DX 9.a
is there any tips / tweaks to improve fps at all????
ur video card is maxxed out. i got a ti 4600 and i get 90 to 100 fps in heavy fighting. but there r no tweaks
Get rid of the MX. There not made for gaming and cant handle the high performance needed for this game.
how do you disable the V synch? it might help me? i dont know......i dont know.
o right ok then... i am going to get a completly new system of alienware.co.uk they seem to get some good PC's there....Perhaps a 3.06 pentium sounds good... £1700... What is better the Gforce 4 Ti 4600 or the new ATI Radeon 9800 all in one wonder (OR ALONG THOSE LINE)????
About V synch...... right click desktop ....///properties///graphic card//// advanced//////in opel gl (i belive) or im one of the options / and set as default...
ATI Radeon 9800 All In Wonder is card in its own class, you do not need this card unless you just want to have the baddest fastest card out there that can do everything. If I was you I would buy an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro for like 191.00 US or if you really want to spend the 499.99 on an ATI Radeon 9800 All In Wonder go for it (If you can find it I do not know for a fact they are released yet) However you may be refering to the 9700 Pro All In Wonder that will run you 399.99. But you cant even compare a Ti4600 with the 9800 Pro thats like comparing a mini van with a sports car.
