I just installed the new patch, and when i double click to run my game, or click run on the autorun nothing happens. It comes up with the initial BattleField1942 load screen, just the partial-screen one(sort of black). Then that goes away and nothing happens.. No error message or anything. It worked fine before the patch, and I just got new vid. card drivers. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks. -TiGeR

if you were running any mods or skins in the 1.1 version...you need to delete them in order for 1.2 to work.....other than that I'd suggest a fresh install of BF and patch it to 1.2 again..see if that fixes it :cya:

You really should search the forums, everything is in here. But I'll give you the easy way out, it seems like this is your problem.

"Allow all refresh rates = 0 " to "Allow all refresh rates = 1".

Just change that under C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings and double click "VideoDefault" to find the above information.

I would just go back to whatever driver you were using before...just cause it's the latest driver doesn't always mean it's better for what you're trying to do
