Hey fellas, I'm the head admin for our clan's server, and instead of kicking a player for shooting up our own plane or sitting idle in a tank that should be at the front lines, sometimes I'd like to just kill them to get the point across. However, I have been unable to get the "game.killplayer #" command to work.
I admin remotely so I assume I have to type:
admin.execremotecommand "game.killplayer 19" (or whatever their id number is)
I don't get an error message in the console, I get a "1" as though the command was recognized and understood yet nothing happens to the player. ???
And before anyone gets cute, yes, I had remote admin enabled. All my other commands work fine except for this one.
I've also tried typing all of the following.
game.killplayer # admin.killplayer # admin.execremotecommand "admin.killplayer #"
Has anyone gotten this command to work as an admin and let me know if I'm doing something wrong?
I was told by someone that the command was taken out, but I've seen it listed in the most current set of commands.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
lol, I kno what ya mean, when I host my very laggy servers, there are always stupid people that sit in vehicles and just be a pest. Most times I dont want to go extreme and boot them, so I decide to just kill them and get them out of the vehicke thier annyoing everyne with. Well, as you know, even though I'm the direct admin and I don't use the remote, it does not work, the error I get is "Unauthorized method" and thats it. So I think " Hey, maybe I have to enable it to make it an authorize method?" I look on the list but there is no command for this. So I am wondering also along with Waxslinger what the deal is with this?
