Is there any way to hook up a xbox live head set to my computer and talk to other people using the head sets on BF?

What connection is on an XBOX headset? If it's a 3.5mm jack it will fit if not youve blown it. I fou are using Windows XP or 2000 there is a good little bit of software built in called Netmeeting.Go to START/RUN/then type in CONF.EXE.Once you set it up you will be able to have you and your pals chatting away.Otherwise,as stated previously mate, get some external software.

Ok thanks everybody I do have XP professional so I could use that. I think that if I get a adapter for my xbox controler and hoked it to my computer up it should work because the headset connects to the controller and the controller goes to the computer. Also, xbl runs on cable, t1, t3, etc. but no phone line.

You're going to spend how much for an adaptor? I've got a funny feeling you can buy a headset for a bit less and a lot less headaches later.

I already have xbox live so I have the headset. So all I need is the adaptor.

Ok I just got a headset from radio shack and it works good. I got the program from windows so now, is there a server for battlefield? Like how do I know what server the people in the BF game are using? Thanks, Matt

This is usually where being in a clan helps Else some server will list what their TS2 server IP is so you can connect to it. It'll be in the same area where you see all the text chat and stuff from PB showing up.

In TS2 if you click Connections and then Connect then click the Web Server List you can find a list of public, private and clan servers. The only problem is that in most cases if you find a good server that way, you end having to ask someone what their BF game server is and then you have to hope it doesn't have a high ping.

Best suggestion, get with a clan and just use their TS2 server.
