If there is absolutely no other interenet access then the only thing I can think of is to double your dial up speed. This requires 2 phone lines, 2 internet connections, 2 modems, and probably an extra charge from your isp to combine the 2 signals. Quite a bit more costly, quite a pain to set up, and in the end your ping is still gonna be crappy anyway. Especially if your 56k actually connects at more like 30 or 40k. But for some people there is no other choice. Sorry.

Satalite Internet, its the new thing they just started. This runs through a satalite dish, I dont think its as fast as cable but def faster than 56k. Try to find something on that. GL :cya:

From what I know of satellite connections gaming is sporadic and very difficult to play. The signal just isnt steady enough to play at a normal level. Also I may be wrong on this but Ive heard that you cant upload so youll still need dial up to get your mail and whatnot. Forget ever running a server, not that you could with dial-up but for the price your gonna pay for satellite youd think it would be an option. I may be completely wrong since I really dont know much about wireless net but someone will correct me if I am.

satelite doesn't work, the signal has to travel around 150.000 KM up, and then down again. That takes 2 secondes, that's way to long for online gaming. You should try looking for a wifi connection.
