I've tried using CloneCD, and the label and the files are all there, it'll even start up the setup program. But when you try to run the game, it opens the first "Battlefield 1942" title screen, accesses the CD-ROM for a while, then that's as far as it goes. Any ideas?

BF1942 has some copy protection of some kind. I think i got a solution but...that involves "forbidden" stuff. What I'm thinking about is the famous nocd patch for 1.2. I'm not going to post any links cause I think they'll be removed anyway. I'll just mention gamecopyworld and megagames.

Good luck!

You need a burning util called Alcohol 120%, it supports the new copy protection whereas Clonecd does not.

... it does the same thing as the CD I made with CloneCD. Any ideas?

Nocd aint forbidden m8 if it was gamecopyworld would not be allowed to supply em... NOCD is just an easy way to play games without cd inserted, u still need original game (serial) to play BF at it's best which is online....
