is there anyway to get this to work in 1.2 or not? cuz at the page where u can d/l it nothing was really helpful, so is it jsut a waste of time to try it..or what? and are there any other good bf modding sites that have weapons? and also..could u use rfa maker to make dds files rfa so i don't have to mess with my textures.rfa? cuz every time i unpack it it keeps getting rid of all my textures (everything turns white) and so i can't really add any of the skins and stuff i want to. does anyone know?

First of all: Mods: There are mods available for Battlefield 1.2 You can download them here at www.battlefield1942files.com and you have to activate them in the Multiplayer->Custom Game menu in Battlefield. So you can't use multiple mods at the same time. Perhaps when you combine them in some way, but I don't know how at the moment. Maybe it would work.

2nd: What do you mean with "weapons"? Skins or Mods that alter damage, clip size or things like that?

3rd: I don't know if Battlefield would recognise the dds files as RFA files. I think you can use your extracted textures folder when it's in the root directory of your game. However, I always extract and repack my texture.rfa with the RFA Extractor and MakeRFA when I want to add new skins. It works for me. I also recommend using the Merciless Historic Addon Version 3.6 With this you can use specific textures for each single map. And there's also one texture package available already, for Battle of the Bulge. It looks awesome.

Update: I tried to use the extracted texture folder in the root directory but it didn't work.

which directory do u mean by root ea games\battlefield or mods\battlefield. and i meant the m1 garand..but i forgot it.. when i say weapons i mean models, like the m1 garand. so far its the only one i found at bf1942files.com, or anywhere else really, because i'd prefer more weapon choices then all allies get bar, because diff countries should be able to use diff weapons....y'kno to make it historically accurate...like soldier 9's thing..can't wait for 2.1 :)

I tried the root ea games\battlefield. As for the weapon models I don't know any sites that have them. They can only be used when the server also has them right?

I hope Road to Rome will bring new weapons for each nation. I'd like to rather have unique weapons for each nation, too. Nevermind if they're equal in strength or so on. The game should be more realistic.
