Are you making them? If you are, then I can't help. If your downloading them then I might be able to. When you download a mod, first you have to unzip it with winzip, if you don't have it, look on your computer for winzip and you probably will find it cause on mine it was hidden. If not download it here . Then after you extract it, make sure that you insert the entire file in the mods folder in "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield1942\ , then inside game, you will notice that after you boot up the program there is a menu at the top. Click on the Custom Game icon, scroll down and find the mod that you would like to use, highlight it, then click activate towards the bottom. It seems like the program reboots, and then the background in most cases is blank, and no more music. Then you can create a game if you wish, but the people that join must also have the mod. If you play an instant battle or a campain map, the mod will be in effect.

Hope this helps
