hi darksnake well your joystick looks just like mine so ill tell you my configurations... first of all if you have a throttle, don't use it. i have the no 1 button ( index) for the machinegun. the no 2(thumb)on the left, is for guided missiles of dropping bombs. the no 3(thumb)in the middle, for gas, this one is important cause the chopper is very sensible and you always have to play with gas for landing or what so ever. the no 4(thumb)on the right, i didn't know what to put so i put the reverse, i remarked that it was very usefull when landing planes or moving it. for the little switch, i can't help you right now so good luck. p.s: my joystick is an acemaster16 from radioshack and i love it !!!
