I was just thinking about when I first started messing around with editing Wolf, and found out its exacly 3 years since I first opened Radiant and started on my first ever map !! my God 3 years... So I dug through my old backups (Yes I'm very good at doing backups.. well most of the time :) ) and found the first map I ever made (never finished lol ) And here it is: http://www.the-wildwest.com/hewster/files/misc/Mountain_fort_b2.zip NOTE: This if for Wolf, not WildWest :) I didn't start on WW for another 2-3 months after this project. To run, extract the .pk3 file into your "main" folder, the map will be selectabe from the create server menu in-game. Hewster
Talking about the Good ole' days, I remeber when we first spoke on that crappy voice software, Battlecom. That was when Bolty was around. I think at the time I was running that server. Anyone remember some of the other players? Bumsaw for instance. It still tickles me does that name. Sounds like some sort of STD. LMAO.
Look what I found! Of course this was after I had already been monitoring the FTP site where Hewster had uploaded a bumpmap demo weeks earlier. So when he put the beta up there, I downloaded it and started playing THEN asked him if I could beta test. I believe his gracious words were "Well you're already here. You may as well!" There's a reason the beta files and servers all have passwords on them now!
