OK - BF v1.45, DC .040, and all ran fine.

I then installed Eve of Destruction, and it played fine too. Until I went back to play BF or DC, then in-game, I get a small grey box (like the "Disconnected from Server" box, but blank) about 2/3 of the way up my screen. This happened when I had Galactic Conquest installed as well, but the box disappears as soon as I uninstall the mod.

Anyone else had this problem/know a fix for it?

TIA,

RDD

I tried removing everything but DC and normal bf stuff, and I still get the annoying box. I did in the past notice it coming around the time I installed new mods. I've tried re-installing the game from scratch to fix it, to no avail.

I've had this error off and on for the last 3-4 versions. It's very annoying and now I'm out scowering the net trying to find a fix for it.

btw there is a similar topic posted on the official boards --> http://boards.ea.com/messages?14@7.JPAJaycNuLB.18@.1deb817a
