Ok I will post my specs before the problem...

GeForce 2 MX - 64MB Ram -- Drivers freshly updated Sound Blaster PCI -- Drivers freshly update 256DDR RAM 1.4 GHZ..

A merely mediocre system, I dont want to hear rants about it's performance and how much better an extra 256/512 would be... I dont really give a shit about that... I know it ran fine before the patch and all my drivers are updated, The problems are ---- I reload SLOW I run SLOW The tank mortars travel airbound SLOW Tanks/Airplanes are slower to turn AND SLOW And... frankly I'm pissed that I can't play my PRECIOUS BF1942... no sarcasm intended....

Seriously... help would rock  ----

Is Hardware Acceleration turned on for sound? Are you running the game in 16 bit (gives a big performance boost on Geforce 2 (mx) cards - i have a Geforce 2 mx 400 btw.)? Game runs smooth on my system:

AMD duron 1300 256 mb ddrram onboard (c-media) audio GF2mx400 64 mb

Gryphon, what patch are you talking about? unless I missed 1.4. Did you recently change anything on your system? Install any new software/hardware? Running a virus checker couldn't hurt. If you don't have one..search on google. there are free online virus scanners. (TrendMicro, I believe is one of them) What operating system are you running?

and Happynewyear. In some ways my sytem is inferior to Gryphon's and I run usually between about 40 and 60 fps.
