First of all I would like to express to all the American WW players a Happy and safe Thanksgiving . During a conversation last night with my Wife about where the Turkey originally came from.. … Turkey Origin …. I started to wonder…. In the European countries where Thanksgiving isn’t celebrated .. Is there a day that represents Thanksgiving to them/You…? … And then it was brought up … Do they eat Turkey….? .. I am sure that turkey is available ..? But it is widely eaten here in America on a daily basis.. Sure I understand that Americans don’t bake an entire turkey more then maybe twice a year…. But we do use turkey everyday as a Cold Cut/Deli meat for sandwiches….
Peace…………………… VONNER
don't forget your northern neighbors...(although, we celebrate thanksgiving at the right time. :nodding: :D ) but yeah, that's a good question; especially where thanksgiving is a non-religious holiday/celebration...i'm curious to.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! :drink:
In holland/the netherlands we don't have a thanksgiving, not even under a different name on a different date. We do have our own special day however on 5 december, that day the kids celebrate Sinterklaas (Sint Nicolaas). sinterklaas But then again santaclaus is based of sinterklaas. But no we don't have a special "stuck the largest possible turkey in the oven" day. :p
Happy turkey eve all!
Happy Turkey Day! I can't wait for turkey and then pumpkin pie afterwards. :yum:

Actually reble, thanks giving was started by an extremely religious group (puritans) but yes it's now a non-religious glutton fest :D
