I just thought I should let you all know that there is another email virus floating around, luckly it was wiped before it even opened by my anti-virus software. The email came saying the sender was dispatch@McAfee.com with the subject line of Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey(dead give away)
This email contained the W32.Hawawi.Worm
Don't ask me what it does I don't know and was fortunate enough to not find out.
Cya all later!
:D :D :D
Changed this to a link, go here for the definition, this virus has a destructive payload http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.hawawi.worm.html
Dude, thanks for all the info and warning, but next time just give a link to the website allright? It makes things a lot simpler...:cya: Virus Definitions at Norton
Im not worried beccause my e mail provider has an option to either allow or disallow e mail attachments. And since i dont have av installed on my computer i just ignore any e mail i get from either norton and mcafee. So any attachments even if sent from a trusted source wont open.
First of all, I got this a while back, but thankfully Norton(:o) got it and chewed it up. But my mom, unfortunately, opened the attachment and then the send box popped up about 50 times and we dont know what happened, but my dad fixed that. :)
Thx man i just reboot my computer cause i had a virus to. Thx for the info man!
Changed the posting, I switched my Security center from McAfee to Norton;) ;)
