Hey just wondering if anyone thinks Elder Scrolls is better on an Xbox or a Computer. My comp just meets the specs and I a working on getting an Xbox for free from a contest. Just wanted to see what ppl thought was better to play it on. :D
Edit: Please don't post those kinds of links here. Thanks. -Ghost-
xbox 360 hands down man beats ANY game visually at the moment on the PC! Why? 360 can handle the FPS, Lag will always be a issue but I hardly see any exsistant at any time when im online with it. Well, lots of people say a 360 is like a beefy super computer because of how powerfull its processor is!
I'd say PC for the custom content and modability. Lag and FPS is only an issue for some people; with tweaks and a decent computer I'm running Oblivion at high settings with next to no lag. Plus I've got custom mods that make the game look even better.
X-box may look better for now, but the PC will catch up and exceed it and the PC has way more mod-ability

Wrong, with mods oblivion looks much better on the pc with high texture mods, color map mods and tweaking with the .ini file can add lots of extra effects.
If you have a poor computer(like me) then the xbox 360 version is worth it. If you have a good PC, or need the mods for the game then get the PC version.
I would say they are about leveled. To be fair, the PC version will run you far,far more money if you have a low-end comp,as you will need a whole new rig, better processor, and maybe even a new hard drive, and this is still saying the same no matter when you bought your PC,wether it be 1 year ago before oblivion was out or be it just a few days ago,the money was still spent and it was more than the 360.However the PC comes through with easy access to mods and other features, making for a deeper and longer experience. But the PC also seems to have issues with lag and graphics, since anything below the recommended specs seems to make the game look like morrowind, and run even slower. The 360 fixes this partially,so long as you have the hard drive, and the controller is much better than clicking a mouse(would you really call clicking a mouse at something more comfortable than pulling the triggers on a 360 controller?)and it slightly helps load times and lag, but, again, this all depends on the power of your comp. The 360 also currently puts out higher graphics, and this is speaking in general, not using environmental mods to back up the PC.Those aren't truly "graphical" enchancements, they just make the world look a lot prettier. The control scheme also dominates the PC,so long as you aren't a fanatic over PC controls. Also bugs, crashes, quest problems, and glitches overall are much less common in the 360 version, though smaller level problems pop up here and there, such as transition sound being shut off or the game freezing when you sleep in a jail cell. But it's better than the game freezing when you alt+tab out or someone walks through a door.I hope no one finds my post bad or misguided:smokin:
