So, what are people's thoughts about what they hope will arrive aboard the new Oblivion expansh.
I hope they create a playable version of one of the surrounding provinces, such as Hammerfell or (laughs) Morrowind. I also hope they do something new like add new skills or classes, and or weapon types, rather than only tweek the gameplay.

I'm not sure about landmasses or anything, but I think they're going to add the possibility of becoming a Werewolf into Oblivion via the expansion pack. Hopefully it will usher us into an age of ES 4 patches and updates.

I want Morrowind in the new Expansion. Yes, I said it. I also want . . : Bug Fixes More Random Quests More Monsters More Weapons
I reckon if they do expand into the surrounding provinces, I think they'll do the southern most, as they are easily accessible from Cyrodiil.
Also, what do you mean by Community project Hypno? As in Online? or jus bringing back areas from previous Elder Scrolls?

I agree with one thing redneck said, and that's that they seriously need more random quests.I finished 50% of the quests(i checked on this using a guide to find some more quests) within around 2 days(roughly, not in actual time). Also a large number of the qeusts are just plain boring and derivative, especially the fighters guild quests which seem to be a repeating chain of "kill 20 of monster B then report to character A" or something similar.Speaking of fighters guild quests the one where you have to go into swampy cave is BS.Not the actual monsters in the cave but the 3 Will-o-the-wisps outside.I found it more or less impossible to kill these things at one time without a staff(and a damn powerful one at that).Seriously, those things need to be balanced as they kill you in what seems like seconds, take 30 imperial legionarre's deaths worth of hits to kill, and are fast to boot. All that aside i just that creatures should be more balanced, the scaling system makes more sense(level 10 arena champion!?!Come the fuck on people!)and that the quests be more numerous and not be the same general formula over and over again(My mind is still scarred by the 50 million 'kill something' quests with no brains required....)

Please not morrowind again, I've played that game for nearly three years I've had enough of it!
For a landmass expansion Black Marsh or Valenwood get my vote, Hammerfell is just too much sand. I hate sand, it gets everywhere and irritates the skin.

Cloud rulez!the same general formula over and over again
Unfortunately, that is almost every single RPG ever created. MMORPGs are the worst, though they get away with it because of the social aspect.
Black Marsh could be interesting, especially if it were like Dagabaa style (spelliing, meh), low level tree canopies and steamy marshland. Loads of Argonians would be rad, too! But also Morrowind could be cool, jus as long as it isn't Vvaarndell again, then it would be crap.

If you look at the full Tamriel Empire map there are plenty of "provinces" that could be added/opened in an expansion. Just think of the "Bloodmoon" expansion in Morrowind where Bethesda just added an island to the existing Morrowind gameworld. Also, this could be a biggie. Combine Morrowind & Oblivion by opening the Morrowind Province and include all the Morrowind+Bloodmoon+Tribunal quests, using the Oblivion game engine. This could make a "Super Elder Scrolls" game package. Emphasis, the package would run just like Morrowind+Bloodmoon, one game & gameworld. :dropsjaw:
