Just interested to know: What are your favorite weapons and armour in Morrowind and Oblivion?
For me, it would have to be this: Dai-Katana (Oblivion) Chainmail and City Armour (Oblivion)
Nature's best screw up.

in Oblivion, i njoy the madness armor u get in shivering isles. even more when its enchanted. It kicks ass. glass armor is also good looking. and the madness long sword. also kicks ass with the damage health 20 enchantment.
I have a set of custom skinned armor for Oblivion I got from planet elder scrolls. I have it enchanted for strength, speed and itelligence.

It's probably not a big deal, but I really like this sword I found in... I think it was Sideways Cave. It was called Mafre Mecil and I found it about 3/4 through stuck into the trunk of a tree. The dungeon was hell because I was a bit too low in levels for it (I think only lv. 2) and a lot of preparation had to go into fighting each Mystic Imp I found, but that sword was really worth it at the end.
PS: I'm not sure if you can find it in Vanilla Oblivion. I'm pretty sure it came with OOO.

I'm actually very fond of the Crusader armour you get from Knights of the Nine. Not only is it powerful and good-looking, but unique - all of the other armour sets (except for the rather poor Imperial Dragon armour, and the rather ugly new armours introduced in Shivering Isles) are everywhere, even the supposedly rare Daedric armour. Aside from all that, I think that the Knights of the Nine questline is really fun, and along with the sense of accomplishment you get from finally obtaining it all, you also have fond memories whenever you wear it.
And lastly, you can put it on that stand in the Knights of the Nine prior house when you're not wearing it. Can't with the other stuff!
Although having said that, the Mazken armour is very flattering for the fairer sex...
So far as weapons go, it just has to be the wabbajack! Umbra is also a useful weapon when paired with Azura's Star, as you can easily keep your enchanted weapons charged even if you don't want to use Umbra exclusively (and I don't, I stick with the Crusader's sword).
QFT Mr Matt. The KotN Armor is pretty sharp. I particularly like the effect the boots have on animal NPC's. In case you didn't know, when you raise in level and place the KotN Armor on the stand, it will raise in level too.
It is inevitable.

My favorite armor is the Griffin armor. The Elder Scrolls Source - Oblivion Modifications and Plugins
I even made a mod introducing it as the armor of my family's and made guards and stuff wear them. I may build up on the mod to make a conflict between two families with things like castle sieges etc... I might even release it :D.
My weapon... Anything that matches the armor I am wearing at the time. Like for the griffin armor, I use a sword that uses the model of the Crusader's Sword from KotN (My personal mod). If I wear legion armor with fur, I'll have an iron bow, iron arrows, and a steel weapon.
But if I am on a quest or need to survive I'll use whatever comes to mind.
I just go for a fully enchanted weapon that kills everyone :)
Once I had the best time - you know that infinite money glitch with that elf living in Imperial City? I killed him and got access to his infinite funding. Then I took an iron sword over to the Mages' Guild and got it enchanted with just about everything. Then I used the duplication glitch/cheat with well over 150+ arrows. By this time I have about 173 fully enchanted "God Swords". Then I set the game to -100 difficulty and starting raging havoc on towns - the guards didn't stand a chance because the "God Sword" spewed out flames and lightning and ice over a distance of about 40 feet... it was rather fun actually... stupid and cheap... but fun :)

Sorry for going a little OT, but how do you enchant somthing multiple times?
Sorry... my post was very confusing...
What I meant was:
In Morrowind, I gave myself a lot of gold and enchanted everything then ran around Seyda Neen and killed everyone.
In Oblivion, I used the infinite dupe glitch on an enchanted weapon (e.g. wabbajack) and killed everyone.
As I said before, I'm very sorry for my above post, I wasn't thinking clearly so I muddled everything into one confusing paragraph...
