I am thinking about buying oblivion and i was wondering how well it would play on my system : - CPU - Intel E4500 core 2 duo GPU - 512mb 8600gt (overclocked from 540mhz to 640mhz), DX10, driver 125.25 RAM - 2GB Cheers :beer:

Yeah, the processor could be a little better, if you wanted to run some of the more processor intensive mods, like Mart's Monster mod; but with that graphics card, you should be able to run the game with Max Settings and Qarl's Texture Pack III.

Almost undoubtedly. If you can't, then something else is draining system resources.

an 8600 can do that? Then why is my 8600GTS a shitpiece at Oblvion?

I don't know. But his graphics card should be able to run the game on or very damn near max.

I think that the 8600 was basically marketed as a dx10 card that would run vista.

Yeah, mine should be able to run better than it is, I think it's becuase my PSU is like 350W and reccomend is like 400-450. Isn't that really risky though?
