Even though i've been playing oblivion for about a year or two, i never really got the idea of stat poisoning potions.

Does "Damage Willpower" poisons even work on the enemy!? Other than selling it for cold hard cash, i don't really think these poisons 'cept for damage health works. "Damage Fatigue" doesn't seem to do scat either.

I don't see how "Damage Luck" would hurt the enemy either :(

It could by reducing the chance of them getting a knock-down hit against you. That and other attacks have Luck as a factor in them.

okay.....

So damage luck does something, but what about damage willpower and such, I reckon damage strenght reduce his attack power? and damage agility lets the enemy get knocked down more easily? lower magic damage with damage intelligence?

Intelligence and Willpower govern Restoration, Alteration, Destruction, Mysticism, and Conjuration.

If you damage those two skills; lets say, by 5, and the enemy has a Willpower skill of 53; it goes down by 5 to 48. If they have Journeyman spells in Destruction, they can't get some of the "oomph" out of the spell, because the governing Attrubute has been dropped to a lower level.

the damage attirbute poisong have the same effect on enemies as they have on you, so damage strength will reduce their attack damage slightly (swords, blunt and hand to hand) and reduce their maximum encumberance, damage will power will sap some power from its governed spells, and reduce the rate that they recover magika, etc etc. the poisons are generally not that effective, but they do help give you the edge, especially if you play on higher diffuculty, or use mods like OOO or FCOM. I find that damage strength and damage intelligence are the most useful, especially against "boss" characters like ringleaders etc. taking a little bit of damage off what you recieve can sometimes be a lifesaver, or suddenly finding that your nemesis cant cast a spell for a second or two more can give you time to close on them and deliver the killing blow. that said, its probably more worth your while to just sell 90% of what you make, keep one or two of your strongest poisons for special occasions (like blackheart or the other named bosses.
