I personally favour close up slashing in combat. I find it the easiest and most satisfying method of killing!

well it depends on which game. morrowind or oblivion? in oblivion i like running backwards while shooting my bow. especially at things that cast spells. in morrowind i prefer swords cause the marksmen stuff is harder to use and arrows dont stick to things so u can get them back. i hate magic exept for levitation, snowfall, healing, and invisibility.

in Morrowind I'm in the prosess of extermination of all NPCs with a lvl 75 chararter at a bounty of 200,000 gold. but Oblivion I'd go with swords because your weak if you fight from afar.

for magic I have a Destruction spell called Halocost that does 100 damage for 3 sec. at a 50 ft range :D

I prefer close combat stealth, as in, sneak up on someone, and take them out with a few dagger thrusts or something. Sword and shield fighting is fun, too, though, as is taking someone out with a bow from a distance.

Being a marksman in real life i enjoy shoting enemies in the head from great distances. However there is nothing quite as satisfying as clobbering a goblins skull with a morningstar

I use swords and hand to hand skill. Its really good cause if your sword breaks, you can use the hand to hand skill to kill the enemys then reapair your sword.

stealth baby, sword fighting is fine, but it lacks..... sadism i prefer sitting in the shadows with my quiver of daedric arrows and.... ssssssTHUNK! bam! headshot! watch ur body roll with the forces of Havok. then giggle over your corpse and examine the arrow stuck in the side of ur head. morrowind, well i prefer fighting of anykind to magic since.. it sucks

I find that buchering your foe upclose face to face and watching them as they die and fall to the ground with their blood on your sword is more twards sadism. Panzies fight from afar real warriors fight face to face! Your a coward if you fight with ranged weapons!
