Just a few minutes ago I was playing Oblivion with OOO mod, and I was fighting skeletons and such in that dungeon near the Imperial City (Vileron or something like that). When I finally confronted that necromancer guy, he was surrounded with spectral wolves and warriors, whom being a starting character, I was all but helpless against. I had no option but to retreat. No big deal right? Well, I backtrack to the waterfront entrance, expecting a casual stroll back to Imperial city from there, when all of a sudden one of those "invincible" spectral warriors appears RIGHT OUTSIDE THE FREAKING DUNGEON next to me, despite the fact that as far as I could tell, I was not being followed up to that point. It chased me about a half mile, across the river all the way to Imperial city prison district, where it was finally killed by no less than 6 guards. Holy shit.
Yeah, enemies will follow you out of... well anywhere, as long as they "see" you when you leave.
i had those wolves too. i couldnt beat them but i had an idea... Put them into the blade traps.
dont spectral stuff die to magic??? maybe an enchanted item or so would turn those spectral wolves to mushy ectoplasm (yummm)
Uh yea, but most people go into the ruin Vilverin as soon as they get out of the starter doungeon. And they do not have enchated weapons. And they die.
well then, thats jus sad.... i head for skingrad as soon as i get out of starter sewers, i wait for that woodelf guy to pssst me and get free money :P with Reneers guard overhaul thingy makes it easier to assasinate the guys for the woodelf and get easy money :D
badhairday;3656705i had those wolves too. i couldnt beat them but i had an idea... Put them into the blade traps.
Since they are spectral, the blade traps do nothing against them. But I usually just use the goblin head staff thingie to kill them, it seems to get the job done without TOO much effort. I found another dungeon that had about 5 or 6 of those wolves and 2 of the spectral guys in the first room. I said to myself, "Yeah... f*** that" and I ran. I figure that I'll just go back to all the dungeons when I am a higher level. By the way, the first Oblivion gate at Kvatch is hard as hell on OOO with a new character, because of all the stupid dremoras. The scamps aren't too much of a problem though.
