I don't spend enough time here

For a good laugh check this out http://www.uspoliticsforum.com/emergency/
I found this on another forum I read. BEWARE..DAMN ANNOYING POPUPS
Ignoring the blind anti-US sentiment, the captions off of some of those pictures can be hilarious. My girlfriend linked me to another site where it was something like 15 pages of various captions to those images (free of popups too) and some were brilliant, heh.
ur quite sore when it comes to anti-us remarks.have u ever considered that the us might be deserving some of the shit thrown at it? btw what was so anti us about that link?
I wasn't "sore" at all, just pointed something out. it's always popular to bash the United States, bash the government, follow the guy next to you, or get your political news solely from a comedy skit. I'm generalizing, but I wouldn't be very surprised if that's the mentality of the person that created the above website.
It's another attempt at scare mongering in the style of the old "duck and cover" advice after WWII.
If you can't figure out a rough idea of this person's political take on the US government based off that comment, then I can't help ya. :p
And yes, I've considered the possibility America deserves some of what it gets, and in those cases when it does, you won't hear a contrary opinion from me. However, I won't blindly agree and throw baseless remarks around just because it's in-fashion to do so or might make me cooler with the mainstream crowd. I use facts to come to my conclusions, plain and simple.
Hope that better answers your question, H8. :D
it does, thank you.btw im not a us-hater its just that so many americans are performing a kind of national masturbation where all critisism is looked upon as an attack on your country, and everything the us government is doing around the world is right, although it has gotten better in the last 20 years.
seriously dont bash the US, we've saved most countries asses or helped them at one time or the other, including your country.
Nah, Zab, everyone is open to criticism. My gripe is that most criticism has no actual basis in fact. That's when I speak up. :D
When people unthinkingly agree or disagree, no one benefits.
yes you are right, but what i said is true.
nope , its just that the average americans head is probably bigger than most other countries combined
there is two types of arrogance here. #1:arrogance in words(that is what some of us here are doing)
#2:arrogance in word and action, that is what the us is doing these days around the world ,where they put themselves at the top of a pyramid and dish out punishment to anyone who doesent conform to their standard of whats right and wrong.
what we in the west must realise is that what works here may not work elsewhere, due to cultural differences.and that is what i think is the reason why so many have a unfavorable wiew of the us,and that is the concept that many americans dont seem to grasp.beeing a "superpower" only complicates the whole issue, not to mention the most aggressive president since ww2,saying "if your not with us,you are against us",painting the world in black and white, coming with remarks like "may god be with us" while engaged in a war against a arab country, reinforcing people like osama and his pals wiews, that the west is engaged in a crusade against the whole arab world.the problem the us have is that they seem not to respect others.
