[COLOR=burlywood]The Matrix was one of the most groundbreaking films in decades. I'd hesitantly place it up there with the likes of Star Wars when that first hit the scene. People, including myself, were blown away, and rightly so. What's amazing is that Reloaded actually looks like it can surpass it, and that's a staggering idea when you think about it since expectations are incredibly high. I read an article once that talked about some of the special effects and it was kind enough to ruin the freakin' ending for me... (I recommend you don't watch the trailers either if you value the plot...) so that's disappointing. In any case, I haven't been this excited about a film release for quite some time. :stallard:
Some other news, a "special edition" version of The Matrix is going to be on sale in June (check it out here http://www.dvd.com/product_movies.asp?type=Movie&productnumber=24274 ) Not sure what's so great about it, it looks like it just has The Matrix dvd and The Matrix:Revisited in one package, but uh.. thought I'd let you know anyway. :p [/COLOR]
Yeah theres also a Anime style Matrix set of short stories that looks killer as well thats coming out on DVD called "Animatrix" check it out at www.whatisthematrix.com , you can download four episodes from it, theres a total of nine on the DVD.
im sorry but i hate anime, and i think just by making this animatrix it would just mock the greatness of the matrix. sorry no offense intended for those who like anime.
