I have the Movies for Mac, the DVD version. I created characters using the StarMaker program. Below is the default location for the StarMaker folder. Are my characters in this folder or elsewhere? I need to know so I can save them to CD for future use.

hard drive > applications > the movies > data > StarMaker

These are the only files contained in this folder ...

doc.txt

starmaker.ini

Starmaker.lhts

Please let me know if this is all I need to rescue my characters or if the files are located elsewhere.

Thanks.

It has been suggested elsewhere on th net that the following procedure be used to access the information (game files) ...

"Right Click (ALT Click) on the game icon and select Open Package"

This is in regards to working with The Movies Game on a Mac. I will let you guys know if this is helpful in any way. More info to come ...

I checked the contents and there's nothing in there that is obviously a game files folder. They are all named things like "resources" and other kinds of unidentifiables (to me at least). I must assume my info is hidden somewhere among these files, so I will try burning the main application and using it as a drag-and-drop. Sometimes apps become completely useless when one burns them and drags and drops them. This was easier to do under OS9, not always so with OSX. At this point it's all I can do to save my work. At least I now have a fighting chance.
