In the meanwhile they (fanny mae) gets their dirty(taxpayer( bailout)) money.

Who the heck takes out a 30 year mortgage at 90 years old? You know you're never gonna live to pay it off.

The more interesting question is, who hands out a 30-year mortgage to someone who is 90 years old?

This economy is pathetic.

Maybe they can give her a decent burial with some of that 700 billion.

I doubt it, for the banks its back to business as usual, fuck the little guy for as long and as hard as they can.

That's was the only thing I found fishy here...

It's really not so fishy. The economy is in the state it's in for a reason. People were taking out loans they knew they couldn't pay back. Banks were issuing loans to people who they knew weren't going to be able to pay them back. Credit card companies were issuing credit cards to people with no income. The list goes on and on.

This certainly isn't a unique case, at least not in regards to the loan itself.

Why was it foreclosed? Couldn't be because she defaulted on the mortgage could it?
