BBC NEWS | Middle East | 'Scores die' in Iraq bomb attacks

U.S. military: 5 troops killed when U.S. helicopter crashes near air base west of Baghdad - International Herald Tribune

This is one of the bigger bombs that kill 150+ in Iraq :( well they were three..anyways this is a very sad day in Iraq. RIP to the 5 soldiers, and to the innocent Iraqi civilians. As for the first story both fanatics can[and will] go to hell because of what they do.

I just hope the situation gets better. The good thing is we have just launched two major operations to root out shi'ite and al qaeda militants and terror cells. Hope it works and we kill alot of them.

Ugh, we've made such a mess over there. Seriously. I'm not trying to bash Bush, but, damn, what the hell? Although, I will admit, I thought it was a good idea back in April 2003. But I was also a 14 year old that was into Command and Conquer, so, yeah.

And now your life is over, get back to work. ;)

As for the topic.. It's sad beyond words, and to think we "allowed" this to happen just because we wanted feel safer, what we did to those innocent people. I wish we weren't all so ignorant and easily persuaded.

The war is almost meaningless to me

The war has no purpose behind it, it is just a complete utter pointless waste of time being processed into making things even worse.

We think we're going to a war for a good cause, but no. We will make things worse for years to come, and more conflicts and wars will undoubtedly endure because of us.

Oy. I'm trying to think of the future good that will come from this war, and currently the only thing that comes to mind are films that will keep tons of actors in work(think Black Hawk Down, but with more carbombs and women), and if there is any delicious Iraqi food, we'll find out when they are in the lot opposite your local Mexican restaurant.

The pilot, copilot, two side gunners, maybe a crew chief or someone like that, that's fairly standard, I think.

Believe it or not, lots of times vehicles require more people to operate them safely than Battlefield 2 would have you believe.
