adelphospro;408308416? College? & Wow you Brits really get around!

Compluslory education lasts until year 11, in which people are 15/16. You can drop some subjects at year 9, and continue to study GCSEs with the rest. At the end of this you take your GCSE exams, which are basically the first real qualifications you get. You can then either opt to leave, or drop all except three, four or even five subjects and do two more years of "A-levels" (one year of AS, one year of A2). At the end of this (when people are 17/18) you do more exams and get your A level qualifications. The A-levels stage is referred to as "college". After college, you can go to university, or leave school.

Currently, I'm doing AS levels in maths, further maths, physics and chemistry.

1. What country do you live in?

The Czech Republic

2. Are you male or female?

Female

3. What is your age?

19

4.What is your current highest level of education?

I'm currently attending a high school comparable level of of schooling.

5. Are you married or single?

single

6. do you have any kids.

No

7.Have you traveled to another country besides your own?

I have lived in Nigeria and India for multiple years. I've also traveled to multiple european and asian countries.

Part 2: The World

1. Do you see warfare increasing or decreasing in intensity within the next 50 years?

I see the level of warfare remain the same. Only the centers of violence will change.

2. Do you see hunger and disease as increasing or decreasing within the next 50 years in the third world? And in the developed world?

I honestly don't know the answer to this question. As much as I'd like to answer decrease, sadly, I think it will not change much. The local as well as global governments will have to change drastically for that.

3. Will technology benefit people more in the next 50 years or will it exacerbate world problems?

Technology will benefit humanity, just as it always does in the long run.

4. Do you see various countries becoming more unified or more isolationist within the next 50 years?

I don't know about the rest of the world, but the European continent will become more unified.

5. Do you believe the world will become more or less stable within the next 50 years?

Stability should be more or less similar as it is now. With little peaks of instability here and there.

6. Do you believe there will be a major world conflict, on approximately the same scale(or worse) as WWII within the next 50 years?

I believe that a third world war cannot happen currently. The superpowers are either too economically tight knit, or not strong enough to really start a war of such proportions. The Russians will keep throwing their weight around, just as they do know, but they won't be able to do anything.

7. Do you believe religion is the cause of, or a solution to, current and future problems?

As an atheist, I've always seen religion cause more problems than it alleviated.

8.Do you believe humanity will see a mass extinction within your lifetime?

It depends. If there is no pandemic, then not. But the chance of one, is increasing every single year.

Part 3: Yourself

1. Are you currently happy with your life?

Relatively yes.

2. Do you think your life will get better or worse in the next 20 years?

I believe it will change. Not necessary for worse or better, but change nonetheless,

3. Do you believe you have great or little significance in the world?

It's somewhat hard to throw your weight around as a nineteen year old among ten million, let alone six billion people.

4. Are you in any way religious?(you don't have to specify what religion)

I am an atheist.

5. Do you, generally speaking, feel safe?

I would have to say yes.

6. Do you believe you will have a better life than your parents?

Thanks to the fall of the iron curtain, I would presume that yes.

7. Do you believe your children(if you were to have any) will have a better life than you?

I do not know that, nor can answer it.
