Ahmadinejad Says Iran Is Now a 'Nuclear State' - Iran | Map | News - FOXNews.com

Ahmadinejad announced today at a speech in Tehran that Iran has already successfully achieved its first batch of 20% enriched Uranium. He then stated that Iran is now a nuclear power.

Experts are saying that once Iran learns how to enrich fuel to 20% it is only a small step to rapidly move up to 90% enrichment which is considered weapons grade to make nuclear bombs.

Ahmadinejad has also stated that Iran can build a nuclear bomb at any time they want to if they so choose. Ahmadinejad then stated that Iran has no wish to build the bomb and still insists that Irans nuclear program is peaceful.

So lets see:

Iran has developed medium range ballistic missiles with ranges of up to 3,000km

Iran has developed a space launch vehicle and launched a satellite into orbit. It is only a small step from launching a satellite into space to launching a nuclear warhead into space.

From a US National Intelligence Council report dated from 2000. .

Some further believe Iran is likely to test an ICBM--possibly as an SLV without an RV impact downrange--before 2010; others believe there is no more than an even chance that Iran will test an ICBM--probably based on Russian assistance--capable of threatening the United States by 2010; and a few believe an ICBM test is unlikely in this period.

Nevertheless, most agree that Iran is likely to test an SLV by 2010. Such a vehicle could be converted into an ICBM capable of delivering a nuclear weapon-sized payload to the United States. A few believe such a test is unlikely until after 2010.

I believe Iran will become more aggressive in the region since it now believes because it has nuke capability and a space launch vehicle it is a nuclear state and therefore untouchable.

I believe this is one of the reasons several Persian Gulf Countries have allowed the US to set up anti ballistic missile systems in their countries, to put up a barrier so to speak around Iran.

I hope the shit hits the fan well before this summer. I really don't want my trip to be postponed due to war/terrorism/mutants.

But yeah, I think Iran is going to be emboldened by this, is going to do something stupid, and is going to alienate absolutely everyone due to their stupidity. They were well on their way to making themselves the bastard of the world, but now I think they might pull some stunt that will alienate even Russia and China.

Either that or Israel is going to step up to the plate and take a swing at Iran's nuclear sites and shit will go down after that.

I sure hope Israel actually does do something about it.

I would not be surprised if there's some general in Israel saying "Fire!" IMHO Iran's days a limited. The Isrealis are tough, they do not give a fuck about what the world thinks of them. They'll nuke Iran without hesitation.

This deployment might be interesting after all!

Hopefully Israel takes steps up to the plate and takes the Iranian facilities down. Somehow, I just don't see Barry ordering strikes on Iran.

Everyone is going to talk... talk... talk.... nothing will be done. I'd be surprised if anything happens after Iran drops one somewhere.

Don't worry, he's focusing on withdrawing troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. Of course, it makes sense to get everyone together for a simplified supply chain, so it makes sense to meet somewhere right in the middle of where those troops currently are, right? :nodding:

Yeah, nothing in between those two countries, right?

Israel might as well go ahead and blow the whole damn place to hell. They've fought off enemy armies before and won.
