I was watching the CNN presents show the other day, it was about other life and who is out there in space. In the program, a good question came up, 'If aliens or other life were found, how would that change the world's religions?'. And thats what I have to ask.

Not at all as in my opinion if there was life, the deities would have wanted it. In fact it would strengthen my belief (what are the chances of lif occuring TWICE?) [EDIT] For the Deities' sake please spell religion correctly. Idiot:lol:

it wouldn't change it at all. It doesn't mention in the christian bible that God didn't create aliens or other life. And with all the galaxies and all the stars that might have a system of planets, it's very likely that He did create life elsewhere. :)

IMO I find it very likely. Out of the immense size of our galaxy, I find it extremely unlikely that our planet is the only one that is able to support life.:uhm:

Well, didn't the bible mention that God cerated the heavens and the earth, and put animals on the earth? And God talks about creating man, and man names all the animals. Woops, Adam call the green guy a martian and then god siad that was bad and the martian was banished to mars.

I dont kno how that would change religion. Some people might disbelieve in their religion and abandon it, others might become religious...

My question would be: Are they Hostile?

True, but that's only for the animals from Earth. And elsewhere in the universe, if there is intelligent life, it would probably be just like us, only slightly different to cope with their own planet.

It would not phase any real religion to know of life forms anywhere else in the big U.

Thats just the point, people would become religious, but would they abandon they're old religion and turn to a new one, or what?

I am confused, I shouldn't talk about religion. sigh

I dont kno, but people do wierd things. Espicially in new situations. They may wonder if aliens have religion as well. If they believe in a god.
