So its a sin to kill. Unless to survive for food, is one argumant. But what about when humans dont kill for survival reasons, but for commercial reasons ? Through our evolution humans needed to eat meat, helped in the evolution of our brains, we could get more protein, but the modern world is different, all types of vegetables are available all over the world, and the human body is in fact not designed internally to consume meat, but vegetables. Meat is a major cause of bowl cancer. Meat is resposible for roughly 1/3 the planets greenhouse gasses. Meat comes from an animal , that some believe have a soul. All animals, in some peoples belief, are sacred under gods plan. My pondering question to all you meat eating religious people, is how do you justify eating meat now days, and have you ever visited a chicken slaughter house and or a sheep/cow slaughter house ? Seen how cruel the meat industy is ? Support such things do we ? l wonder how many will actually try and justify there eating habbits ?

This. I don't give a shit if you're a vegitarian jack, just don't try to convince me to give up me. You will never succeed.

wait wait wait wait wait. are you using Religon to back up your own beliefs? Meat has been apart of the human of diet for thousands! of years. how can you say we evolved out of our meat eating diet? and how cruel the meat industry is? Oh woah was us, for being at the top of the food chain. thats life, animals are slaughtered everyday, if not us, then by other animals. are you going to tell us that Lions, tiger, and bears (oh my) are immoral because they slaughter their prey just as bad (if not worse)?

If you want to be vegetarian, that's your choice and it's fine with me. I, on the other hand, will continue eating what humans have been eating for thousands of years: meat.

TIKI, I'll take you up on that burger. Extra bacon too! =p

This.

Though people should be free to drink or eat whatever they feel like and decline whatever they don't feel comfortable with. If it makes you happy to be a vegan, vegetarian, not eat certain types of meat, only eat certain types of meat, eat any meat or prefer meat over anything else or whatever. That's your choice. Though I wouldn't advice a meat only diet...

lm not a vegitarian.

Humans do have the ability to understand what cruel is, other creatures dont, so we can stop killing if we choose, l just wanted to see how the religious people handle such horrific actions, when they believe in a soul and heaven , god etc.

l never said humans have evolved ''out'' of meat eating. l said our internals were never designed and cannot process meat properly, and that its our ''choice'' to eat meat, rather than a necessity.

Damn it. Post jumped. Jack, what do you mean we can't process meats. Find me some proof for that. Damn it. Someone give Strato rep for me. I need to spread some around. Also, TIKI, where should I meet you for that burger. I just noticed this.

l wonder how many will actually try and justify there eating habbits ?

I don't have to justify my eating habits. Neither do you.
