I'm just wondering... With the election coming up and all... What's the reason so many of you are voting for Bush? He's (in my opninion) partially responsible for the situation the world is in today. My country has been 100% peaceful for 60 years, but then this Bush-man comes along, and now the whole world has to worry about terrorattacks. I realize that Bush is not entirely to blame for this (soon-to-be third world war?), but he certainly didn't help. He didn't help the suppressed Iraqies either. So why are you voting for him to stick around? I just want to understand, I'm not trying to be offensive or anything.

nush should have left irag alone, britain should have not got involved but bush would have found it an insult for us to not help and Mr blair didn't want the diplomacy with our two countrys to go bad

so all you americans out there get rid of him now!!!

Purple hearts, I wouldn't mind seeing him get it. Sorry, im not into elections and politics and all the rest so I dont know his name (Cheney right?) The reason id like to see him get it is because hes obviously been in wars etc, so he'd know his stuff when it comes to war. Personaly experiece he might make good choices.

I have a perspective on all the comments written here in this Thread. First off I am an American and a very proud one at that. Many of my personal family not including family thru marriage have fought and died in several Wars including World War Two on behalf of many other families throughout the World in other countries. Yes it is true that some Americans may come off as Power mongers or just simply pompous or rude. But what country doesn’t have rude people living in it…? But I do tell you Saudum Hussein needed to be taken out of power. Was it the correct move to make on starting the Attack on the terrorism..? I don’t believe so, but what is done is done. Saudum Hussein doesn’t = Bin laden but he too was a danger to many Nations just ask the neighboring countries of Iraq.

Now to cover the comments about President Bush. I am not an American who voted to elect this man nor did many in this Nation. But the fact is that he is our president and we are at WAR... So as Americans we support our president who represents our nation. Many miss the fact that even though there is not peace yet created in Iraq there will be one day. A free nation is way far better off then ran by a Dictator.

I do agree that the Mess we have in the World could possibly be part our fault but it can’t all be put on our shoulders. The war in Iraq has been mishandled and many stupid decisions had been made by the Bush cabinet and other nations. The U.N. should have been more open on creating a plan rather then voting most options out. You say the USA is doing a horrible job … But yet other complaining countries are standing on the side lines watching the battle go forth with.

I believe Voting Bush out of office is a start at finding a solution but not the final one at hand to accomplish. But remember who ever becomes out next Commander in Chief will have this burden to finish. With many eyes here and abroad watching him so closely to find mistakes or errors to start to shake the man down... ridicule and blame for issues or disasters globally.

I do know one thing History will show that whenever there is a problem in our World many nations turn and look for the USA for an answer for the solution... May it be Military, Financial or humanitarian aid. Right now the USA can be under the gun to say by critics globally … I hope the Nations and people who are doing this do not need the Help from this great Nation anytime soon , But like the nation we are we will be there again helping where it is needed…

Peace ………………….. VONNER

The reason a lot of Americans vote for him is becuase he's not the dumb, illiterate, retarded, war mongering guy a lot of the media present him as. Otherwise he could have never have got to power in the first place......

Not to disagree with you and create an argument. But President Bush did not win his election thru showing smarts or expressing power, If I remember correctly he barely won and in a bit of confusion as well … I do hope that this years election at the polls , Counting them that is will not be controlled by republican interest . Jeb Bush in Florida better not get himself in another cover up….

I do know there are many Americans who still feel and talk about how Bush’s election seemed to be rigged and many illegal avenues were taken to insure his election … I wonder how many Fat pocket republicans made sure of it. If Gore had won the election preceding Clinton many rich republicans would have lost money thru reformed tax cuts... It would have been a great thing for this nation to of had a Democratic party in control for 12 years.
