I didn't make it!
Preserved, anything we undo as protected parks ends up in petroleum companies hands, then we have NO real controls, its a vital part of the earths eco system a part we dont fully understand, we shouldnt mess with it, it could bite our whole species in the ass in less than 15 years if we mess it up, we need to preserve and scientificly study it, the oxygen trapped in the ice bubbles are invaluable to scientists, to let comersial buisnesses in on the act, ppfftt, very few companies care about the enviroment, only profit, can you imagine a huge resort with its septics and a town down there expanding, sheesh, bye bye antarctica, we need to preserve this chunk of ice and rock and study it for many many years before destroying it through tourism or comercial buisnesses .
if a company wants to invest money there then that's their business, if they have claims on it then it's theirs. If you want it preserved then invest your own money there.
Heaven's gonna burn your eyes

Keep your filthy hands of Antartica.
It's vital for the ecology of the entire planet, and anything that goes wrong there hits here first. We should reduce the number and size of the research stations, and allow absolutely NO private interests on the continent. The fragile nature of the continent musn't be disturbed.
