Im interested to see what the public thinks about this!
Do you think humans are a) Sinners b) Righteous d) generally bad e) generally good f) in the middle g) other
I think it's the actions that make humans good or bad, I don't think that they are intrinsically good, bad or sinners.
"Sinners" is a human dialect . It is a spoken human word. I would not consider animals in the wild sinners as they practice no religion. Also, when we humans were just savage beast many years ago, we were no different than a wild deer or bear of today. We had no religion or concept or what is sinful . That didnt come until we WANTED civilization. I guess it depends on who you ask . You could ask someone if sleeping with a woman while dating another is sinning and a man could say no . You could ask a conditioned people of a religious society with certain views on a civil being and they could say yes.
IT is only sinning when people set examples that we dont want others to follow. Fear that if a man cheats on his wife , another may do the same. Just an example there. Back in cave men days there were no sinners because no one could be seen or heard as one. Some actions may have offended others back in our primitive ancestory but there was no such thing as a sinner.
Sin to me is an action that is forgiveable by only a religion. Insults and "wrong doings", like sleeping around...affairs are forgiveable by all people alike.
When you attach the word sinner though you show more character and personal opinion of actions that have been carried out. Sinner is not the same thing as criminal or murder . Unless someone believes that individual to fall into a group of people that they preach against . "Sinner" can become stereotypical , the opposition of one's religion. A group of people who criminals, killers, lust all fall into the same group. They become something that sets an example of what someone believes is wrong and right. An example for religion , and as a group a religion works together not to be as "sinners " are....
BLAH BLAH BLAHHHHHHHH
Well, I believe we are all naturally "sinners" for these reasons, the main one being that God is Holy. "Sinner" mostly seems to describe someone who goes against God's moral standards. Sure, as humans we have our moral standards but God, if He is Holy (Which I believe He is) has the Only Moral Standards. Now, of course, if you don't believe in God(s) then you really cannot be a "sinner" (At least not in your eyes or the eyes of other humans who don't believe in God(s)), just moral. It seems interesting that most criminals view that what they do is good (or the right thing to do). Hitler or Stalin for example. Is it just me or have other people observed this as well?
Well Criminals simply think that if they are resourceful enough and smart enough to "earn" what they steal then they "deserve" it at that time.
I think humans are basically "bad" in the sense that, for the most part, we only care for ourselves (when it all comes down to it), and most people don't mind going out of their way to screw another person over. In my experience, at least.
I don't think you can generalise the entire human race as either "righteous" or "sinners". Every human is different, and each person chooses what way to lead their life by. You can only define people individually as good or bad, not humans as a whole.
I don't believe in God, so I can't really say sin exists either. I prefer to think of moral standards.
I think that it depends. I think the biggest thing that makes humans sinners are that there a so many queers out there. I think that we need to rid this world of gays. If we were able to do that we would make the human race such a better group of beings.

Now this is the sort of thing that makes me think we swing more over to the "bad" side than the "good". There is so much unjustified hate between different groups. East and West. Different religious groups. Homosexuals and people like the homophobic idiot above me.
I mean, let's take this as an example. You give me ONE good reason why someone's sexuality makes them a bad person. For a start, do the "queers" make sweeping generalisations like you do, GateCrusher420? Do they make unjustified assumptions based on nothing but sexuality like you do, GateCrusher420? Do they advocate genocide on a global scale like you do, GateCrusher420?
