The 13th RaptorThose you call "real men" are idiots.

Could you elaborate on that statment? Saying their idiots is fine if you have facts to back it up with.

PethegreatI never had many friends when I was young and I lived on a road where people will do 45mph+ regulary(almost got hit once while I was riding my bike). I also watched the news when I was 10 and the stories of child abduction scared me. I don't ride my bike now since my cousin got killed on july 28th, 2005 by a semi while riding his bike. It does not matter now since I will have a job that gives you a good work out every day.

I supose it does depend greatly on how many children your age are around locally, and the safety of the area, I guess I was lucky in that sense. Sorry to hear about your cousin's death, I think statisically, at least in the UK, cyclists are most likely to be involved in road accidencts.

IR15HGet kids outside and doing some exercise rather then spending all day watching cartoons. If you have pent up energy sitting on your arse watching TV isn't going to get rid of it, going outside and playing a sport will.[/quote]

And that is a very good point.

However, like I said earlier, this is only a small part of the big picture. The same people who wage war against "violent cartoons" also wage war on "violent games". No more cops and robbers for the boys - they might go home and use it on a real robber.

The 13th Raptor"real men" are idiots.

Are you calling me an idiot? :smack:

Dude, anime revolutionized the cartoon industry. It was a great achievement.

i think its childish though.

I don't understand this sentiment. I guess people think they're "too old to watch cartoons - that's stuff for kiddies!". I think a truly mature adult wouldn't care - he likes what he likes, even if its animated.

Real men:

Value sports over all. Gawk at pretty women, whistle, call out, whatever. Do stupid things to be cool. Drink. Fallow popular beliefs.

Of course, what one would classify as a "real" man, depends on who you ask.
