Anyone here want to see Barack Obama run for president in 2012 or 2016 (Hillarys got 08). In case anyone doesnt know who he is, he was a keynote speaker for the DNC and is running for Illinois senate. He is energetic and could be waht the Democrat Party needs. Him speaking: http://www.dems2004.org/site/apps/nl/content3.asp?c=luI2LaPYG&b=125925&ct=158769 His record: http://www.senatedem.state.il.us/obama/ An article: http://www.npr.org/display_pages/features/feature_3624700.html?place=home01

I'd rather have Obama '08 (if Kerry doesn't win '04), than Hillary. He's definitely going to be the future of the Democratic party, or at least one of it's brightest stars(which he already is)..:p

I have never trusted senators. Whether they are republican or democrat, it doesn't matter. However, this man has the kind of background and personality of someone I would like to see run. It doesn't mean I would vote for him, it just means that if he was elected and I voted for the other guy, I wouldn't mind him being president although his political ideals are differant from mine. Can't say the same thing about the current democrat running. Why did you guys have to do this to our country? Couldn't you have just picked Lieberman?

Obama is only 30 years old right now. You can't run for President until you're 35. Therefore, he can't run in 2008.

It doesnt really matter. barack would make an excellent president, but I have a feeling he doesnt stand a chance with blind voters and racist bastards running around.
