There seems to have been a recent surge in bloodshed and hostility in Iraq...
Four Car Bombings in Iraq Leave 21 Dead
Two Bombs Kill 15 Near Shi'ite Mosque in Baghdad
6 Americans die in crash of helicopter
there good i'll grant them that
I think some people from that region have a unexplainable fetish for car bombings, doesnt matter who or what dies when they do..
I don't think there is a surge at all. Stuff like this has happened every week since the 'end' of the war...
this is ironic but after the "end" of the war more lives where lost
nowheremanthere good i'll grant them that
good my ass. any one can set bombs and blow things up, but they will acomplish nothing
they are doing better than the us the usa is losing the war cause they are not agressive enough if we used snipers there would be little to no loss of civalian life and many more insurgents dead
I don't either believe there's a surge right of now really. The violence are pretty steady over there still. You should considder that the official numbers over killed people and incidents in iraq has dropped due to the incresed amount of mercenaries that has entered the country lately. Therefor it looks calmer from the outside then it actually is.
Eventually they will run out of cars to bomb, then there will be no CAR bombings anymore. I kind of agree that the terrorists are getting more accomplished than our forces are against them. In a war against terrorists, organized armies won't root out the terrorists - but in this case our forces are not even organized, so no matter what we do, we're shooting blanks. Iraq will be another Vietnam - the war in Iraq and the war in the US over the war. It's getting tiring. If we're going to be attacking Iran soon, then we had better definitely get our s*** together with our forces. If we would attack Iran by the end of the year, then we would have little chance. Fighting in Iran may not have the guerrila fighting that is in Iraq, but having a guerilla war in Iraq while fighting Iran would not be advisable at this time. There were other civilizations that in their first few hundred years only attacked those who declared war on them - and then they started to declare war on anyone they thought might be dangerous. Then those empires fell eventually. I hope that's not America's destiny, but everyday it's looking that way. If we are going to destroy terrorism, there is going to need to be a good amount of re-strategizing and effective strategies developed. Organized (sort of) armies and advanced technology don't seem to be any match for the terrorists who are the same people who some said were living like people did 10,000 years ago!:cort:
nowheremanthey are doing better than the us the usa is losing the war cause they are not agressive enough if we used snipers there would be little to no loss of civalian life and many more insurgents dead
They are doing better? Lol, bullshit... its funny how people always comment on stuff like that, like how many US soldiers/marines are dying in Iraq... You dont seem to realize how many Iraqi insurgents and muslim extremists aka. terrorists, are dying, a far greater amount than coalition forces, thats for sure, the news and media never writes storys about how many insurgents died or captured, just about how many coalition forces have died... And what... lol, you dont think they're using Snipers in Iraq? Lmfao... Besides snipers cant do much against someone who is dressed in civilian clothing and blends in with the rest of the crowd...
