The coalition needs to be proactive, i.e. sort out the root cause of the problem. Simply killing an unlimited number of civvies come terrorists won't do the trick.

The cowards are still scared, that's their faceless tactics. It's ALL they have, and will be over soon. To bad we can't just drop a MOAB :)

G.O.A.T.They are doing better? Lol, bullshit... its funny how people always comment on stuff like that, like how many US soldiers/marines are dying in Iraq... You dont seem to realize how many Iraqi insurgents and muslim extremists aka. terrorists, are dying, a far greater amount than coalition forces, thats for sure, the news and media never writes storys about how many insurgents died or captured...

you kill one, two more will come along, killing more insurgants mean nothing in this type of war.

And what... lol, you dont think they're using Snipers in Iraq? Lmfao... Besides snipers cant do much against someone who is dressed in civilian clothing and blends in with the rest of the crowd...

Body counts mean very little in guerilla wars I mean the Brits were run out of Kenya even though they killed about 20 natives for every settler or soldier they lost.

Body counts are a real bad sign. What they signal is that we're operating in a strategic vacuum, and the only claim we can make is dropping bad guys. When Westmoreland started counting dead Cong in Nam, it was because he didn't have a strategic plan. So the body counts went up and up, and the situation got worse and worse. Commanders under pressure to produce high counts started multiply the real number by two or three or ten. So even when we did kill a lot of Cong in the Tet offensive, nobody Stateside even wanted to know. They'd heard that tune too many times before.

Well, when america does things like taking pinguins out of their cage and scan them thru a metaldetector before they allow them to board the plane in an container in the cargo area then you know that the terrorists has already won. :nodding:

I dissagree... I think in a war like this, although it is concentrated in Iraq, it is a global war, a war on terrorism, look at Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya... the only way to get rid of people who have one thing in mind (which is to eliminate pretty much every Westernized and free country.) is to eliminate them. Because these are people that are guerrillas, insurgents, who have no distinct home, and are not exactly ruled or ordered by any form of government. I dont think there is a way to remove terrorism without actually killing off all the terrorists... Unless you get to their leader(s) and remove them so they have no one to follow... but then new leaders will arise... so idk.

Won't those people will ever get bored of bombing each other. Why don't they pick a pc and start playing HL2 instead.
