i was watching the news about a suicide bomber that either was or did blow himself up inorder to get a girlfriend, i only caught the article in passing and have not been able to since find any more inofmation on the matter,
all i remember is that it was a teenage boy desperate for a girlfriend that a muslim girl convinced him to kill him self to prove his love.
and that it was possible the girl didnt exist and it was just a ploy to get him to blow up a public place
any one know any more info or have a link to a news page??

I don't think it's worth making an article about. Those people just about force others to be a suicide bomber by making threats like that they would kill the person's family, or by telling them stuff like what you said.
Alert and FULLY AWESOME

There was a Muslim girl who committed suicide because she was told by her teachers that she couldn't be in love with a Hindu boy.
But that was in Fiji.
I would die without GF

Uhhh...doesn't that sound a bit strange to you? If she's telling him to blow himself up, I wouldn't call that reciprocation, and that's what love is, otherwise it's just infatuation. Besides the fact, of course, that he gets nothing out of blowing himself up, girlfriend-wise.

Ah, if I had a penny for every time a girl told me to do that...
It's a classic blow-off line. Or, blow-up line. Whichever works.
hehehe no seriously it was on the news but i just cant find any more infomation on the matter.

must be hard to score a date in the middle east if you got to go through all of THAT just to impress the ladies...want to end terrorism? Just send them half of Americas highschool ladies. problem solved. "Abdullah!, The Americans advance upon Karbala! Grab your weapons and lets go!"
"I cant Faziz"
"What? brother, the infidel are at the gates, we must---"
"I promised Cindy that we would go to bed bath and beyond"
"Cindy? the woman with long golden hair?"
"Go with God Abdullah"

There was a story recently here in Australia:
A group of mother's created an fake MySpace profile, belonging to a young boy called "josh". They immediately added a girl they knew from their daughters school and proceeded to flirt with her via her page and MSN. For the next 3 weeks "Josh" told the girl she was beautiful and sexy, and that he wanted to be with her.
Eventually the frauds decided to end the scheme and told her, through their creation Josh, that "the world would be better off without her".
She committed suicide over a person that didn't exist.
Not entirely relevant but still holds some value over what destructive powers "love" could have.
