This thread applies solely to male bodies.

What do you think of male body hair? For a very long time, hairy guys were considered to be manly and attractive. But I've been noticing that for the past couple of years every guy portrayed as attractive is literally hairless.

Obviously, that's quite far fetched since most guys everywhere in the world have hairy legs and chests. Is it expected, and if so: fair, for males to shave their body hair?

A lot of girls don't find muscles or body hair attractive anymore. In older times, that sort of guy would be "hot". Now, most girls like those freaking poofters who shave their legs, arms and underarms, and wear gayscara and guyliner. You know the type...they have trouble opening doors that are too heavy, they have to keep their nails in perfect condition, and "Ooh, can't sweat, or the make-up on my face may smudge and melt!"

Perhaps I'm just too opinionated and old fashioned.

Every generation has the styles. Body hair was mostly an 70s-80s trend. Just like mutton chops and big mustaches were still the fashion in the late 1880s-1930s the clean shaved look is now the trend. I will expect that this trend will die out like all the others.

Call me shallow, but I've found that body hair makes someone looks masculine, and for men, that's a good thing. I'm all for body hair and facial hair. Looks cool.

Unfortunately, I don't have much. My legs aren't carpeted yet, even though I'm Sicilian and my dad is really hairy.

I tried that clean shaven look. When I skipped a day shaving, it started to grow back, and it felt like needles scraping my skin. Sharp, and pointy... It also felt too feminine to shave my hair...

I finally decided to let it grow long, and become a hippie. Unfortunately, now that I have a job, I have to shave my face every two days.

Worse, now that my co-workers keep mistaking me for a manager, or a manager for me, I've had to shave my mustache... Its fun being 15 again,... :(

Hehe, I think you're exaggerating just a bit here.

What can you say, fashions come and go. I can understand a preference for smooth, hairless skin. I have practically no body hair except for my quite hairy legs. I also have little facial here, which means I'll probably still be carded for 16 when buying alcohol until I'm 25 (nineteen now and still asked almost every time).

I've got some wicked sideburns.

I feel like when it comes to this issue, I'm much like John, nothing grinds my piss like one of these overly feminine "men."

I hate body hair to be honest, feel free to call me a metrosexual but i find hairless skin to be the best thing since sliced bread, it's just so soft!

Apart from the smoothness it makes me feel cleaner, i look younger (i'm not that old, but yeah) and it makes "it" look bigger :P. There is no use for most body hair these days and i envy the generations that will have evolved beyond it.

I'm far too lazy and scruffy to bother with that sort of thing. I don't care either way though, it's not the men I'm looking at. Do whatever you want with that shiny hairless body of yours - but god help you when the stubble comes through and you're nowhere near a razor...
