well when it takes you an hour to get to school with a car (the only one you could afford to buy) only gets about 18-20 mpg. and you live in the middle of alot of trees, that'd be good if everyone still heated with wood i'd cut and split wood for money but theres not anyone that heats with wood that i know of.
and how do i sound stupid when i tell you about how hard it is to find jobs here even though "bush created so many"? look and see in henry county carroll county and calloway county how many people are actually hiring, you probably won't see very many. and the ones i do qualify for theres about a 1,000:1 ratio, or 1 job 1,000 people.
You live in such conditions, yet on a Monday morning at 9:15 CST you're sitting at your computer typing away on a forum. Peachy...

yes but for different reason than you think. the guy wants to bring it back because people have criticized others about their support to the war, yet its the poor usually who go to the army, so he wants to bring back the draft so that all classes of people must contribute.
Trojan_Ripper;3400747Is it true they're talking about bringing back the draft?
Yes, but it will probably never come to fruition. Senator dip-shit a.k.a. New York Democratic Rep. Charles Rangel thinks he is being cute by seriously pushing this through in an effort to dissuade America’s future initiative to go to war or wage other wars; if passed people 18-26 would be required to serve. And when we say "people" we mean the poor and middle class, nobody from Mr. Rangel's family, of course. Apparently this is the Democrats solution to Iraq. If by chance it does pass (which I seriously doubt) it will most certainly mean that no other Democrat will ever get elected and that is not acceptable by his party, hence why many moderate Dems. are temporarily joining the Republican base to thwart this bonehead idea.
So all of you that are old enough to vote for these guys, guess you got what you wanted, they sold you up the river…just keep this in mind when the presidential elections come around. It’s not right to gamble with peoples lives Mr. Rangel weather you agree with an unpopular war or not. Neither my children nor any other young person is yours to use as you will to make a political statement you a-hole, why don’t we send your children first or you for that matter or all you stupid, ignorant retards in Washington.

yeah they were talking about bringing the draft back but it was going to be for people between 18-42 not 26, which i thought was rather stupid.
and rangel is the only one pushing for a draft there's no one else that wants one but him so he's up shit creek without a paddle persay when it comes to the draft.
