Großadmiral Dönitz Agreed.Luckly they didn't showed anything about it overhere except a short mention of it on the news, where ofcourse was also mentioned that the whole thing costed 17 million dollars for a 17 minut speach.
It was on here, live too...
I watched it, but I thought it was rather boring and more of the same. He could have made his point in 1 minute. The fact that he said freedom 27 times also astonishes me. What a load of bullshit.

'LIGHTNING [NL']I watched it, but I thought it was rather boring and more of the same. He could have made his point in 1 minute. The fact that he said freedom 27 times also astonishes me. What a load of bullshit.
:agreed Most, if not all, of speeches nowadays are pointless political drivel. You don't get the meaningfull stuff, like what Lincoln or Kennedy had to say. Just a speech that no one cares about. We were watching it in school, but most of the time we were just commenting on what people's reactions whould be if the choir started singing the 'Communist National' (sp?), a giant hammer and sickel dropped from the platform, and then Bush pulled off a mask and turned out to be Lenin. Now that would have made watching the inaguration worthwile. :nodding:
